2. Schüler-Ingenieur-Akademie 2025

In March 2025, the Calvino Group welcomed students from the Schüler-Ingenieur-Akademie to their lab, immersing them in the fascinating world of polymers. The students were initially introduced to the fondamentals of polymer chemistry and had the opportunity to explore its marvels: from producing polymers (such as synthesizing nylon) to understanding their everyday applications (super-water absorbents in diapers), while examining their various potential properties (such as the swelling of gummy bears, or the creation of non-Newtonian fluids).
