Schüler-Ingenieur-Akademie 2024

In February 2024 the Calvino Group hosted 16 high school students from the “Schüler-Ingenieur-Akademie“ program. This program aims to inspire pupils in upper school (11th grade) for technical issues and promote their interest in science, technology, and engineering. With lots of fun and self-made substances to watch, touch and play with the students from the Gymnasium Gundelfingen and the Droste Hülshoff Gymnasium explored the diverse world of polymers. Different experiments were conducted with the instructions and guidance of our team members. From gummi bear slime to fluorescence drawings the students could let out their creativity by simultaneously learning basic concepts in the polymer science and material science in general.

We really enjoyed this workshop and hope that we were able to enthuse the participants!
