Logan Charton

PhD student

Logan grew up in Metz (France), where he first studied physics and chemistry. He then pursued a Master degree in molecular and supramolecular chemistry at the University of Strasbourg (France). During his Master, Logan’s research was mainly focusing on organic synthesis. First, he developed pallado-catalysed cascade reactions at Dr. Jean Suffert’s laboratory (SOMHet team), in order to build strained polycyclic scaffolds. Then, at the Biomolecules, Synthesis & Methods group he worked on the conception of original building-blocks containing emerging fluorinated motifs, in collaboration with Pr. Nicolas Blanchard.
